Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, 'Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,'
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
Pslam 139: 7-12
The darkness = is but a time that is void of light = but the same God of light is the same God found in the times of darkness = those times when situations are confusing, circumstances we know not how to handle...void of the light = but we reach out in that darkness < void of light > and by faith take hold of the everlasting hands of wisdom and trust him to bring forth his perfect plan for this season of darkness! Thanks for the thought provoker this a.m.....Tabby be blessed...good to see your post
ReplyDeleteHey Tabby... I've just stumbled on your blog and just have to say 'hey'. I've discovered those verses in Psalm 1 once again - for what it seemed like the very first time over the last few weeks,(don't you love it when God does that?) and the verses have been reverberating for me more and more over the while.
ReplyDeleteJust two days ago Psalm 139 has been re-speaking to me too esp v 5 "5 You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me." I love that.
Anyways... it was nice to see two things on the front page of your blog that the Lord's been speaking to me... keep writing & be blessed Tabby.
It was a blessing to 'land' here :) Peace to you, from me in NZ
What a great psalm, thanks for sharing.
